Studio Orientation Sessions
First Wednesday afternoon of each month
Choose one: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm or 3:00 - 4:30 pm
In partnership with our co-working space theCodeFactory - MediaStyle has opened a digital media studio in downtown Ottawa.
Starting in September it’s available for you to rent the space on an hourly basis. But, we recognize that not everyone feels comfortable operating in a pro-studio; so we are offering "Studio Orientation Sessions". The first are on Wednesday September 1st.
This session is designed to give you a basic understanding of the space, the technology and demonstrate some of the various jobs the studio can take on. Orientation isn’t mandatory, but it’s recommended for new podcasters or people just getting into video. We can help iron out mistakes before you make them!
You will learn:
- how to use the podcasting microphones and professional audio board
- basics on several editing (video, audio) applications
- how to transfer files
- a full studio gear run-down and basic instruction on how to use it
- how to use the green screen to maximum effect
- tips, tricks and ideas for pro-quality podcasting and online video production
We’ve priced these sessions at only $20 to help cover our costs.
Sessions are limited to six (6) participants per 90 minute session.
